Dreaded White Lines

It always seems that the parts of a project that I assume will be the easiest will inevitably bite me in the ass.  I'm really enjoying my time with Cinema 4D, and getting back into After Effects has been like visiting an old friend, but combining the two hasn't been as smooth as I would have liked.  Specifically, I'm having a little trouble with compositing into After Effects.  I think I have it narrowed down to the matte that's being created by Cinema 4D.  Currently, I'm setting up an object buffer that is cutting out the area where I want to place my photo into, but its a little too big and producing a white line around the image.  I saw the same thing happen in the tutorial I followed at GreyScaleGorilla.com, but thought I could get around it.  I'm going through a similar tutorial on Lynda.com that doesn't seem to have the problem and keeping my fingers crossed that I find a solution.
